Das Hofergut ist kein Hotel im klassischen Sinne. Es ist ein Haus mit Geschichte, sorgfältig renoviert und mit Bedacht eingerichtet – ein Ort, der zur Ruhe einlädt, ohne sich aufzudrängen.
Gudrun kümmert sich persönlich um ihre Gäste. Nicht mit Serviceprogrammen oder festen Abläufen, sondern mit Aufmerksamkeit für das, was wirklich gebraucht wird. Wer Gesellschaft möchte, findet sie. Wer Stille sucht, bekommt sie.
Die Architektur spricht für sich – reduziert, ehrlich, mit Respekt vor dem Bestand in die heutige Zeit gebracht. Alles kann. Nichts muss.

History

In 1085, nobody could imagine what would become of the Hofer estate. But one thing is certain: it has always been destined for greatness.
Rural estates, known as “Houve-Höfe”, are among the oldest economic entities in the country. In the era of Charlemagne, they were given special administrative tasks – as was our Hofergut, which at the time was known as the “Hofer” estate.
According to ancient tradition, the estate not only served as the seat of the lords of Riscone from 1085 AD, but was also the seat of the St. Michelsburg provincial court. This makes the estate one of the oldest documented buildings in the region.

Architecture

With great sensitivity, new spirit was breathed into the manor house, protected both as a listed building and as part of a historic ensemble. Sheltered by its old walls, a holiday home has been created that embodies the blend of old and new with every breath. A pared-back, stylish design, carried out by local craftsmen using materials from the region.
